Virginia Creeper is not the first PSC I ever tried, but it is the experience that made me a believer.
A couple of years ago, I was gifted a beautiful, wooded piece of property.
It was everything I had wanted…and incredibly overgrown.
I spent countless weekends clearing invasive underbrush and small trees, making room for larger trees to thrive.
Then, somewhere along the way, I injured my shoulder.
At first, I assumed it would heal. When weeks turned into months, I tried to be calm, but eventually more than a year passed. I tried chiropractors, energy work, and rest, but the pain remained. I had almost accepted that this injury might simply be with me forever, much like my husband’s shoulder injury, which he had been living with for nearly 20 years.
Then I noticed what the property I had been gifted was trying to show me.
Tiny plants were sprouting everywhere on the property. It wasn’t just a few. There were hundreds covering the ground and climbing the trees.
So, I pulled out my plant identification app.
Virginia Creeper.
Kind of a scary name, but I stayed curious and kept exploring. It was native to our area and had a history of medicinal use. Interesting, I thought, then I went about my day.
Three days later, Jenn’s book, Ancient Plant Wisdom, arrived in the mail.

Even picking up that one book caused an all-too-familiar twinge of pain, and I sent out a message to the universe.
If there is a plant in this book that will heal my shoulder, please let me open to that page.
I opened the book.
Virginia Creeper.

The exact plant that had suddenly appeared all over my property.
I had tried one or two PSCs for various ailments in the past, but I had never been consistent. Something about the stars aligning this way got me to commit to taking this one regularly. I ordered Virginia Creeper that day.
Jenn’s book says Virginia Creeper supports the repair and regeneration of joints, ligaments, tendons, cartilage, and connective tissue. The exact thing I needed.
I wish I could tell you that instantly I felt a shift, but the truth is I never noticed my shoulder gradually improving.
I was nearing the end of the bottle when I idly decided to do a little test.
No twinge.
I moved my shoulder through its full range of motion. Nothing. I even bumped it against the wall several times, trying to trigger that familiar stabbing pain I had lived with for more than a year.
Nothing.
Zero pain. Full range of motion.
After seeing my results, my husband decided to try Virginia Creeper for the shoulder injury he had lived with for nearly 20 years.
By the end of his first bottle, his shoulder was repaired too.
People often ask me about my own experiences with PSCs, and Virginia Creeper remains one of my favorite stories to share because the result was so tangible.
Today, I take several PSCs primarily to support different organs and systems. Fortunately, I don’t have many illnesses or ailments , so much of what they’re doing is naturally going to feel more subtle.
I can’t necessarily “feel” an organ being supported the way I could test whether my shoulder still hurt.
I have experienced other noticeable changes. PSCs have helped me tremendously with hormone balance, and I found relief from insomnia that I had struggled with for about a year before I began taking them consistently.
